About us

This site was created by two veterans of the electronics / semiconductor industry who between them have nearly 60 years experience and have been going through the daily challenges resulting from redundancy and getting back into work. Every day we hear of someone else in a similar situation expressing the same concerns and same frustrations that we have and we wanted to share our experiences with other like minded people and see if we can help each other and our community.

The aim of the White Collar Unemployed web site is to to bring together the White Collar unemployed community in the UK to share questions, concerns, frustrations, thoughts, ideas, advice and anything else that might help our community to get back to work.

We also aim to try and keep you up to date on topical issues and point you in the right direction for advice, information etc that we come across that could be of help to you.
